Here are the steps to follow when using Tretinoin 0.1:
- Begin by removing all makeup, clean your face, then ensure it is completely dry.
- Use a pea-sized amount of tretinoin and apply a thin, even layer to your face using your fingertips, excluding your lips. If it accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with warm water.
- Wait 20 to 30 minutes for the tretinoin to fully absorb into the deeper layers of your skin before continuing with your regular evening skincare routine, such as applying moisturiser or eye serum, etc. Avoid using harsh facial exfoliants while using tretinoin, as they can irritate your skin.
Recommendations:
If you’re new to using tretinoin, it’s a good idea to start slow and gradually increase your frequency of use. Begin using it once or twice a week for the first few weeks. Once your skin gets used to it, you can use it more often, such as every other night and eventually every night if you choose to. However, if your skin reacts negatively, take a break for a few days to let your skin settle, then reduce usage to every second night.
